The best way to get real estate work done with AI

Cowork - getting started with the best AI for real estate

AI is moving beyond chat. With tools such as Copilot Cowork, professionals can increasingly delegate complete pieces of work: analysing folders, updating models, reviewing documents, researching information, producing spreadsheets and drafting outputs.

This practical course shows what that looks like in real estate.

Rather than discussing AI in the abstract, we work through real-world workflows and show the prompts, files and outputs behind them. Participants then receive practice exercises so they can reproduce the examples themselves.

Six real estate workflows.

The course is based on practical real estate problems to demosntrate Cowork capabilites.

Real files

Files that allow completing the excercises that simulate the complexity of everyday work in real estate.

Real prompts

Prompts you can copy and paste to experiment with real workflows.

Hands-on practice

Overview

This is a hands-on course.

It takes around 45min to view the content and at least 90min to complete all examples.
The course offers examples of the following workflows. It also offers detailed guidance and all files required to replicate them on your own.

1. Deal screening and investment analysis

Start with a property brochure and use AI to investigate the asset, research relevant information, test assumptions and build an appraisal.

2. Portfolio and DCF model updates

Work across multiple Excel models, roll forecasts forward, update assumptions and review the resulting returns.

3. Project and data-room review

Give AI a folder containing different file types and ask it to identify missing, inconsistent or unresolved information.

4. First-pass legal review

Compare NDAs, heads of terms and related documents, extract commercial terms, identify unusual provisions and build an obligations register.

5. Service charge analysis

Read lease provisions alongside a building budget, calculate recoverable amounts, flag caps and draft clear tenant communications.

6. Finance and operations automation

Explore repetitive workflows such as trial-balance mapping, debtor follow-ups and recurring reporting processes.

What you will see:

1. Introduction (see this part for free by clicking on the video on the right hand side)
2. Walkthrough of sample real estate workflows (see list above)
3. Personalization and producing Skill files
4. Implementation guidance

What you will receive

Watching a demonstration is useful but running the workflow yourself is where the learning happens so participants receive a structured exercise pack containing:
  • the source files for each exercise
  • ready-to-use prompts
  • more detailed guided prompts if required
  • clear instructions
  • expected outputs
  • self-check material

You can therefore repeat the workflows after the session and experiment with changing the instructions, assumptions and outputs.

Who is it for?

The course is designed for people working across real estate, including:

  •         investment and transactions
  •         asset management
  •         finance
  •         portfolio management
  •         development and project management
  •         legal commercial teams
  •         operations

What you will learn

By the end of the course, you should have a clearer understanding of:
  • when Cowork is more useful than ordinary AI chat
  • how to delegate a multi-step task rather than ask a single question
  • how to structure files and context for an AI workflow
  • how much detail to put into a prompt
  • how to review and challenge AI-generated work
  • where human review remains essential
  • how repeatable workflows can be turned into reusable processes
  • where AI can save meaningful time in day-to-day real estate work

You will also learn how to instruct AI to complete the work according to your step-by-step instructions using a Skill file.
